Mrs. Roxie Ann Davis entered into rest on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at her residence. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 11 a.m. at B. A. Williams Chapel. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Mrs. Davis was born in Wrightsville, GA and was married to Dover Davis. She joined Mt. Calvary Baptist Church at an early age after moving to Augusta, GA. She is survived her devoted daughters, Iris Sampson, Lillie (J.W) Williams, Patricia (Edward) Crawford, Christine (Joe) Godbolt, Sheryl (Nelson) Archangel, Cheryl Davis, Annette Davis, Regina Davis, Dover Davis Jr; devoted sisters, Bessie (Willie Lee) Plumer, Mattie (Elijah) Walton, Sarah (Antonio) Sylvester, Kathern (Herman) Brown; brother, Joe Lewis (Josephine) Banks; sixteen grandchildren; thirty seven great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives.
