Mr. Sam Singleton Jr., entered into rest on April 4, 2026. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 10, 2026, at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Southview Cemetery. He is survived by his daughters, Betty B. Harrison, Brenda Singleton, and Rosemary (Jason) Beard, all of Augusta, GA.; sons, Isaiah Barksdale of Augusta, GA; Michael Singleton of Auburn, Kentucky; and Kenneth Barksdale of Augusta, GA; son-in-law, Joe Johnson; daughter-in-law, Josie Barksdale; sister-in-law, Willie Ann Jackson; twenty-two grandchildren; many loving great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, church family, and friends. Mr. Singleton may be viewed on Thursday, April 9, 2026, from 1-5 p.m. at the funeral home.
