Samiah Love Walker entered into rest on Friday, March 28, 2025. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Lighthouse Christian Fellowship Baptist Church at 12:00 p.m. Samiah Love Walker passed her test peacefully transitioning on March 28th, 2025, in Hephzibah, GA. Miah blessed the world with her entrance on September 29th, 2020, in Augusta, GA. Despite the odds spoken over Samiah's quality of life being diagnosed with Trisomy 21 she hit the ground running! Her village knew she would lead an inspiring life because she was made in God's image (Genesis 1:27). Miah exceeded multiple milestones: nursing til 19 months (shouts out to Bella Bambino!), sitting independently, walking independently, smothering those she cared for with snuggles & the sweetest kisses! Climbing stairs then later walking up the stairs independently, potty training skills which were nearing home plate, learning to articulate words, phrases & sentences, she composed songs daily that she sang sweetly, she was a role model who inspired families of special needs kids to change the way they saw their loved ones & daring to learn a new way of thinking & living. Miah lived boldly despite what others thought, she was infectious, guaranteeing to make any room she entered brighter & make someone else smile. Samiah Love was truly a beautiful change this world needed to see.
