SFC (Ret) Deacon Luid D. Washington entered into rest on Thursday, January 2, 2024. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 11 a.m. at New Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will be at Mt. Olive Memorial Gardens. Preceding him in death were his parents, his wife, Pearl Washington; daughter, Marietta Kyle; and son, Kenneth Washington. Survivors include four children, Louise, Luid Jr., Sonya (Michael) and Tiffany; and a daughter-in-law, Carol Washington; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
