SFC (Ret.) Jerry L. Whigham entered into rest on May 10, 2026.

Funeral service will be held Friday, May 15, 2026, at B.A. Williams Memorial Chapel at 2:00 p.m.

He is survived by his wife Kelley Whigham; children, Jerry (Robrielle) Whigham II, Jimmy (Valencia) Whigham, Juanita (Thayer) Philpot, Julia King; grandchildren, Alexzander, Ezekiel, Genesis, Jimmy II, Ananda, Rajae', Tamera and Mariah; brothers, Charles (Alice) Lewis, Wilcher (Brenda) Lewis;  sister, Joanna Huff; devoted aunt who raised him as her own, Mary Lois Jones; aunts, Juanita Barrett, Mamie Billington and Lucille Foster, Virginia and Francis (Larry) Brantley; uncle, Comer Homes; mother and father-in-law, Doris Baker and Herman K. Baker Sr.; brother-in-law,  Herman K. (Jacquline) Baker Jr. devoted friends, Eric and Veronica Linnear and Floyd Davis and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mr. Whigham may be viewed on Thursday, May 14, 2026, from 1-5 p.m. at the funeral home.
