SGM (Ret.) Clarence N. Lewis, Jr., 86, US Army, entered into rest on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at Charlie Norwood VA Hospital in Augusta, Georgia. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Blue Heron Church of God in Riviera Beach, Florida. Interment will follow at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, Florida on Monday, February 3, 2025. He leaves to cherish his memories: sons, Torrence "Butch" Lewis of Augusta, GA, Troy (Sherry) Lewis of Edmund, OK, Kevin Lewis of Edmund, OK, and Wells (Jessica) Lewis of Hephzibah, GA; daughter, Charon Wright, of Jupiter, FL; and devoted daughter, Rosalyn D. Howard of Palm Bay, FL; bonus daughter, Theresa Griffin of Detroit, MI. He also leaves behind his sister, Loretta Hepburn of West Palm Beach, FL; brothers, Rudolph (Shirley) Lewis of San Antonio, TX, Derrick (Barbara) Lewis of Riviera Beach, FL, and Demmick (Tahia) Lewis of Greenville, SC. Additionally, he is survived by a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, and sorrowing friends who will forever cherish his memories.
