SGM (Ret.) Andrew Reese entered into rest on Friday, October 16, 2026. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at B. A. Williams Memorial Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. He is preceded in death by his sisters, Lilly and Ethel and his brothers, Roosevelt and Gonzales Jr. He is survived by his wife, Babette Reese; daughters, Deitra (Ken) Watson, Denise Reese; sons, Dexter (Dorothea) Reese, Anthony (Shavonda) Sapp, Adrian (Latoya) Sapp and Jonathan Sapp; brother, Allen (Mary) Reese; sister-in-law, Vernida Oliver; brothers-in-law, Robert (Rose) Oliver, Ronald (Mary) Oliver and John (Sharon) Oliver. Viewing will be held on Monday, October 26, 2026, from 1-5 p.m. at the funeral home.
