Ms. Sharon Gordon, 66, of Augusta, Georgia, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2025. Sharon was a devoted mother, loving grandmother, and cherished friend. She was a proud graduate of Augusta State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology. Sharon enjoyed traveling, spending time outdoors, furniture shopping, and being surrounded by her family and friends. She especially loved visiting the beach, where she found peace and happiness. She is preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Grimes; father, J.D. Grimes; brothers, Rantee Grimes, Fargo Grimes, and Valda Grimes; sister, Pamela Vincent. She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Christopher(Kelli) Gordon Sr. and Joseph Gordon; her treasured grandchildren, Gianna Gordon and Christopher Gordon Jr., to whom she was affectionately known as "Mimi." Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she embraced her role as Mimi with warmth, joy, and endless love. She also leaves to cherish her memory two sisters, Versity(Marvin) Jenkins and Linda(James)Terrell; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. In honoring her wishes, a private memorial service will be held for close family.
