SSG (Ret) Leroy Blackwell Sr. entered into rest on Tuesday, December 24, 2024. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 2 p.m. at B. A. Williams Memorial Chapel. Survivors are his devoted wife, Reta Blackwell; daughter, Kimara (Christian) Seabrook; sons, Leroy Blackwell Jr., Laron Blackwell, Laquan Blackwell; six grandchildren, LaEisha, Bobby, Micah, Makenzie, Amare, and Kassidy; five great grandchildren, Madasyn, MiKhisyn, Maziyah, Braylyn and Ke'Myjah; mother, Elizabeth (Moss Sr.) Elam; brothers, Michael (Bernice) Blackwell, David (Alfreda) Elam, Moss (Sammei) Elam; sisters, Marion Bennett, Francine (Johnny) Davis; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
