Mrs. Susie Bell Goodwin entered into rest on Thursday, August 27, 2026. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at Mount Calvary Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mount Olive Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Goodwin leaves to cherish her memories, son, James Goodwin; daughters, Emma Burroughs, Betty Mobley, Susie (Authur) Melson, and Jacqueline Gossip; sister, Pamela Griffin Miles; brothers: Jerry (Doris) Griffin, Sam Griffin, Arthur Griffin, and Horace Griffin, sixteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. There will be a viewing on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, from 1 to 5 pm at the funeral home.
