Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Fairview Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Chuck Smallwood officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Olive Memorial Garden. Survivors are her husband, Vernon Major; children, Cassandra Ashwood, Huntsville, AL, Horace Holden Jr. (Antoinette), Jonesboro, GA, Tonya Davis (Zelwin), Vernon J. Major, Augusta; siblings, William Lee Cooper (Lillian), Sammie Lee Cooper (Mary), Leora Moss (Willie), Jacqueline Cooper, Augusta, Willie Lee Cooper, Jr. (Stephanie), Ft. Washington, MD, Calvin C.
