Mrs. Tressie Mae Jenkins entered into rest on Friday, January 23, 2026. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at New Newberry Missionary Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her sister, Bernice Hunley and grandchild, Antwon Brinson. She is survived by her husband, David Jenkins; children: LaDessha Brinson, Tonya Brinson, David "Man" Brinson, Shanice Jones and Asia Crosby; siblings: Susie Atkins (Roosevelt) and Cleveland Seaford (Betty); grandchildren: Javon Brinson, Jaden Brinson, Daviya Brinson, Delanie Brinson, Jayda Brinson, Fanethia Brown, Mason Deshaun Jenkins, Nadari Hasan Jenkins, and Cairo Idris Jenkins, and a host of other family members and friends. Mrs. Jenkins may be viewed on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, from 1-5 p.m. at the funeral home.
