Mrs. Unicetine Laverne Lewis entered into rest on Saturday, August 2, 2025. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2025 at 12:15 p.m. at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley T. Lewis; her daughter, Joyce Lewis; her grandson, Marcus Lewis; and her parents and five siblings. Unicetine leaves to cherish her memories and legacy her loving children: Linda Ann Dumas, Ignatius Lewis, Zenzel Lewis, Schewislzer Lewis, Laverne Lewis Gaskins (Kent), Laryce Lewis Farrell (Ken), Gather Lewis (Angie), and Yezzet Lewis Thomas (James); grandchildren: Myah Gaskins (Josh), Aaron Dumas, Jasmine Gaskins, Adrianna Sanders (Darius), Darryl Lockett, James Thomas, Jr., Frank Thomas (Sandra), Jaylin Thomas, and Chioke Farrell; a host of great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
