Mrs. Vernelle T. Redd entered into rest on Thursday, January 8, 2026. Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 19, 2026, at Windsor Spring Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at Fort Jackson National Cemetery at 12:00 p.m. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Redd. She is survived by her daughters, Gena (Lee) Wright, Stacia Redd; brother, Frank (Shirley) Pickney; two grandchildren, Lee Wright III, Arianna T. Wright and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. There will be a viewing on Sunday, January 18, 2026, from 1-4 p.m. at the funeral home.
