Mr. Wesley D. Sanders Sr. entered into rest on Thursday, June 4, 2026. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Bethel A.M.E Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mount Olive Memorial Gardens. Wesley is preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Rosa B. Sanders; his sisters Katherine Ashe, Willie B Beard, Jessie Sanders, Rosie Townes; his brothers William Sanders and Cleveland Sanders; his devoted wife of 70 years, Beulah Mae Sanders, who passed away just nine days before him.  He is survived by his four children, Gregory (Louisiana) Sanders, Marcia (Charlie) McConnell, Wesley (Mylene) Sanders Jr., and Rhonda (Darril) Mikell; their goddaughter Sylvia Glover; 15 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 14 great- great grandchildren; sisters Juanita Browder and Dorothy Whitlow and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. There will be a viewing on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 1-5 p.m. at the funeral home.
