Mr. William Davis Nelson Jr. entered into rest on Thursday, December 12, 2024. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at Greater Young Zion Missionary Baptist Church at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery. He was a 1973 graduate of Lucy C. Laney High School where he was a drum major and was a U. S. Army veteran. He is survived by his daughter, Tameka Ruffin; mother, Doris Nelson; brother, Dennis (Patricia) Nelson; five grandchildren; one great grandchild and a host of other relatives.
