Mr. Wilson L. Rice Jr. entered into rest on Saturday, January 6, 2024. Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church. Interment will be at Westover Memorial Park. Preceding him in death was his father, Wilson Rice Sr. After graduating from the Academy of Richmond County, Mr. Rice received his Bachelor's degree from Morehouse College and a Master's degree from Lehigh University both in Mathematics. He was an educator at Augusta Technical College for over seventeen years, was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. Survivors are his wife, Elicia Rice; son, Edward Lamar Rice; daughter, Alana Elyse Rice; mother, Louise Rice; brother, Robert Christopher Rice (Stephanie); nephew, Christopher John Rice; niece, Laura Louise Rice; mother and father-in-law, Linda and Homer T. Edwards Jr.; a host of other relatives and spiritual sister, Prophetess Deanna Dixon.
