Mr. Yewston Nathaniel Myers Jr. entered into rest Wednesday, October 21, 2026. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at 2 p.m. at Trinity C.M.E. Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes E. Myers, and son, Alexander H. Myers. Mr. Myers is survived by his son, Yewston (Terri) N. Myers III; 2 daughters, Beverly Myers-Tarver and Joan (Deanie Kitchens) Myers; grandchildren: Jacinta A. Parlor, Edward J. Tarver Jr., Yewston N. Myers IV, Jenee E. Parlor, Beverly Elizabeth Estes, Yasmine N. Myers, and Yania N. Myers; great-grandchildren: Amaya Denmark, Ayanna Denmark, Yewston N. Myers V, Ava M. Myers, Nina M. Myers, Yani N, Myers, and Yasaad N. Myers, and a host of other family members and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to the Fort Valley State University Foundation - Y.N. Myers Jr. Scholarship Endowment Fund. (1005 State University Dr. Ft. Valley, GA 31030)  PLEASE honor Mr. Myers by wearing his favorite colors: purple, royal blue or gold to his memorial service.
